Next major event IMSG Symposium, 3 November 2010, College of Medicine, Ibadan. Recent events 28 November 2009, Annual General Meeting, including Executive Board elections. In recognition of recent achievements, the Executive Board re-elected. 2009 Fund-raising event on Saturday 10 October 2009 in Croydon. We raised over £10,000 which will go towards another project jointly agreed with the College of Medicine. 2007 Fund-raising The 2007 fund-raising event took place on Saturday 6 October 2007 at Hilton, London Docklands. The occasion was attended by Prof. A Omigbodun (current Provost), Prof. EO Akande (1st Provost) and Prof. A Akinkugbe. Prof. Omigbodun read an address from the Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, Prof. OA Bamiro. £10,000+ has been used to procure a much needed Wireless Backbone facility for the College of Medicine 2005 Fund-raising The fund-raising dinner-dance in aid of the 25th Anniversary of the College was held on Saturday 8 October 2005 at Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel on Albert Embankment, London. The event was a great success, with guests from all the UK. The college was represented by the Deputy Provost, Prof K Osinusi; the Dean of Clinical Sciences, Prof OO Akinyinka and the Sub-Dean (Undergraduates) of Clinical Science, Dr Sina Oladokun. Money raised (£9051.65) was used to fund projection microscope system for the Pathology Seminar Room in the Clinical Sciences Block.
